Day 36 25 June from Castenada Casa Milia to Rua, Casa rural called O Acivro about 25 km with 19 km to Santiago now

How organized is this bicigrino ?.. It's been misty and overcast for the last few days, so difficult to dry clothes..he even has pegs! And underpants on his sticks!

We leave CasaMilio and on the last 2 days now...not sure if we are happy or sad...

It's another misty morning..

Passing through villages and farms... Each with their own veggie garden...

More woodland paths.. Rob ahead...

And there I am struggling up the hill....

We meet Annette from Oz who is walking for a bit with one woman of a group of 28 - they all have breathing problems,  all wear red scarves ..

And here are more of the group.. Some have oxygen and are in serious condition, they have a variety of breathing problems from emphyzema to asthma... I am filled with awe at their courage and how happy they are... They have been doing this for 7 years, and walk about 200 km per year...truly inspiring ...

We cross a few shallow river valleys..

33 km to go...

Stopping for breakfast ..

Another shallow river valley crossing...

The wild foxglove in this deep lilac colour only ...

A peregrino catching a moment of peace by a babbling stream..

Another village where a farmer has a stall selling everything that pilgrims may want.. From bananas to shells ..and new t- shirts..

Straight gum tree Forests..

Rob passing by a farm with deep blue hydrangeas on the corner growing "wild"..

The farm garden - I love the red contrast of the geraniums..

More woodland paths...

Follow your heart...

A host of yellow daisies delight ....

Another village we pass through ...

21.5 km now...

How is this for design?

We ride into the viIlage of Rua, 19 km from Santiago....

And we get the last double room with private bathroom at a Casa Rural called  - yay!
